· has worked at Executive Director for Community Action of Nebraska and the Association of Nebraska Community Action Agencies
· served on Educational Endowment Committee funding an inner-city school offering free and reduced tuition to minority students
· was Treasurer of a Community Foundation funding over a million dollars for elementary school literacy
· is a supporter of a pregnancy assistance program for expectant and new mothers and children for food, clothing, medical care, and transportation
· member of the civil rights organization, The Catholic League for Religious and Civil Liberties
· promoted visual and performing arts to minority communities free of charge as President of the Cathedral Arts Prog
